Max and Felicia Trujillo are a power couple in the NC Food Scene, even though they've been in Raleigh for less than 5 years. When they moved from Los Angeles, Max became the GM of Midtown Grille, and Felicia had a 10-year wedding photography business. But Max was working 70-hour weeks, and Felicia was starting to get burnout from weddings, so they both decided to make a change. On the show, we talk about how they changed careers and being passionate about what you do in life.

Dear Restaurant Guru,
Recently my husband and I went to dinner with friends at a local restaurant, two of us ordered the same dish and both of us became violently ill within two hours of dinner. It clearly was food poisoning. What is the “right” thing to do – do you call the restaurant and tell them or not? If I had been really sick and needed to go to the doctor would the restaurant typically be responsible for helping with costs?

I love wine, especially red wine. I rarely order a bottle because I like to try different wines. What should I do if I order a glass and it tastes funny, flat or sour? I am not picky but I drink enough wine to know when it’s not quite right....

Dear Restaurant Guru,
Last Wednesday my boyfriend and I went out to dinner. We asked the hostess to sit at a table in the bar; the area was empty. She seated us at a two-top; five minutes later she seated two people to our right and another five minutes later two people on our left. We were crammed together yet there were several empty tables around us. It was a $100+ dinner, and the seating affected our experience. What can we do to make sure it doesn’t happen again?
